The TJC Promise Program is a six-year, comprehensive program that spans from 9th grade through the first two years of college. East Texas students who fulfill the Promise requirements receive support and encouragement to obtain a college degree or certificate from TJC. The TJC Promise Program covers tuition and fees for up to two years through a combination of federal grants, TJC Scholarships, and the TJC Promise.

Who is eligible?

High school students in the following school districts are eligible for the TJC Promise: Chapel Hill, Grand Saline, Lindale, Mineola, Tyler, Van, and Winona. The following private schools are also eligible: All Saints Episcopal School, Bishop TK Gorman, The Brook Hill School, Christian Heritage School, Cumberland Academy High School, Good Shepherd School, Grace Community School, King’s Academy Christian School, and Tyler Classical Academy.
